In January, the crews of R-VETS and NICA-VETS gathered in Granada, Nicaragua.

We traveled north by school bus to under-served regions of the country, working on horses (hundreds), cattle (1), pigs (1), dogs (hundreds) and cats (scores). One monkey was escorted in princely style to the National Zoo in Managua.

These photos show our volunteers, anesthetists, veterinary students, veterinarians, clients and patients. 560 animals were seen and treated over the 17 days.

Hope you enjoy the photos in this PowerPoint show.
